The Richard Pieris Tyre Company is the market leader and the pioneers in the tyre retreading business in Sri Lanka.The company established in 1940 and it has become the largest retreader in Asia.

At present The company caters to the whole retreading market in Sri Lanka by manufacturing and delivering around 60,000 tyres per month which is 60% of the market share.The company furthur secured the largest tyre distribution network with 1300 dealers who have scattered through out Sri Lanka.

The company has four decentralized factories located in Nawinna,Kandy, Kurunagala and Weligama.

In 1991 The company had entered to a colloberation with bandag Incorporation in USA to commence the precurred tyre trading for the first time in Sri Lanka.

At present the company has extended their products by introducing trading tyres.It is now distributing new brands such as Birla ,Casumina and Corsa and has become sole agent in Sri Lanka.
