| The company has a total extent of 2,564 Ha. in Rubber of which 2,256 in production and the balance 308 Ha. in the immature state. It is envisaged the mature are which are reaching the stage of uprooting will be replanted annually. Every endeavour is made to over come the shortage of tappers experienced in the past specially in Kalutara district by encouraging the existing tappers to engage on the vacant blocks by offering additional incentives. 60% of the crop is manufactured into Latex crepe in 03 factories available. 01 factory is now being converted to a Sole Crepe Factory. |
